The Medicine:
Sananga is a potent plant medicine served as a liquid drop into each eye. This medicine is made from the shredded root of an Amazonian shrub, Tabernae Montana Sananho. Traditionally, this medicine was used by hunters to prime their vision and being as the prepared to enter the jungle for the hunt. We use Sananga to support a deep cleansing of our vision as it clears away blocked energies on emotional, physical, and spiritual levels. It reminds us of the incredible strength that we carry and our incredible ability to hold ourselves through anything. It is a safe and powerful, legal pathway to support us in nervous system regulation and spiritual healing.
The medicine is experienced as an intense burning sensation that lasts a few minutes as we work our way through its process. It is not for the faint of heart. But the space is held for each recipient to move through their process however they need to. We use deep grounding breaths to guide ourselves through this process as we make our way through to the other side. An aspect of this medicine allows us to revisit and heal past trauma as we are allowed an opportunity to be within our “missing experience.” While in the past we may have had to endure some of our greatest struggles alone or in isolation, we are provided a container to move through challenge and pain as we are held in total support and loving safety amongst our sisters.
Benefits of this medicine include but are not limited to: balance and increase of energy, deeper healing of past traumas, finding the roots of energetic blockages and aiding you in moving through them, remembrance of strength, faith in our body and ability to hold ourselves through whatever challenges lie ahead.
Many traditions believe in Sananga’s ability to treat and prevent ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, farsightedness, nearsightedness, astigmatism, and blindness as well. While we cannot attest to these beliefs, we trust that the wisdom traditions have a greater insight into the power of this medicine.
Experiencing Sananga in Ceremony.
We offer Sananga in a small group ceremony of 6-10 women who would all be experiencing the medicine along side you. We begin ceremony with reflection and connection to our intentions with this medicine, then open up the space for some sharing to get a sense of where each woman is coming from as well as her focus with this medicine journey. We would then hold space for each woman to receive the medicine. After everyone has had their experience, we create space for sharing and integrating what came up in our process.
We find that these small group containers are incredibly powerful as we hold space for each woman’s release and renewal. We experience the medicine completely on our own but we are also held by the loving energy of the women around us who so deeply understand what it’s like to long for release and rebirth.

Cost of Experience:
The cost of the experience is a sliding scale of $88-$111 per person.
We offer a discount for small groups that come forward requesting a ceremony (6 or more friends) of $77 per person.
