Cacao
Cacao is the dried and fully fermented seed of Theobroma Cacao, from which cocoa solids and cocoa butter can be extracted. This plant medicine is known as a “heart-opener” and is often served in communal ceremonies to assist in awakening our own loving energy, facilitating deeper connection to our self and others, and providing space for realizations and healing.
Cacao is a true superfood, containing abundant antioxidants. The psychoactive ingredient Theobromine that stimulates our senses is translated to “food of the gods” for its powerful ability to connect the recipient to their higher power and the unconditional love that is always available to them.
